Billing process

Billing workflow shows how different business process tasks are connected with each other. Each tasks, such as posting, can be completed only if previous steps are preceded and completed by user.
This is overview of step-by-step process to go from meter reading to printed invoice.

In this picture you see 5 essential points for billing process:

  1. Register / upload meter readings.
  2. Calculating consumption and posting consumption journal.
  3. Creating and posting invoices.
  4. Sending invoices to customer.

Before you can use the Utility Billing application area, you must enter certain basic information

  1. about supply addresses, meter points and meters;
  2. about tariffs and tariff components;
  3. about customers and contracts.

Billing

After you have set up meter points and customers, and entered current readings you must calculate consumption of services. When it is done, create create and post invoices, and send invoices to customers by email.

Statistics and Reports

There are several reports available. Some of these can be tailored to meet specific needs.
